Is it time for new cabinets? Are your present cabinets not worth putting money into? Are you looking to reconfigure your kitchen? If so new cabinets may be for you. Kitchen Tune-Up® can provide beautiful stock, semi-custom or custom cabinets of varying levels of quality in a variety of styles, woods, and laminates.
When customers ask me to price out a new kitchen it becomes apparent that most people do not know enough about cabinetry to make an informed decision.
I suggest this approach:
- take a few minutes to ask yourself a few questions about the cabinetry you have in mind,
- decide on a budget for your kitchen. Know your upper limit and have realistic expectations,
- if you are looking to keep the existing layout or if your kitchen is of average size then don't worry about a floor plan. However if there is no existing cabinetry and your kitchen is large then either have a floor plan ready to present to me or I may need to charge a design fee in order to design one for you (which will be applied to the job should you move forward),
- call me to discuss your kitchen. If you are ready to get together I will visit your home, will briefly show you sample doors, cabinet styles, wood species and finishes (stains), and will review options at no cost or obligation,
- I will discuss coordination of other improvements such as new flooring and lighting, and will provide names of other contractors (electricians, floor installers, etc) should you move forward with me,
- and will get back to you with a few options and quotes.
Once we move forward I will then:
- install all cabinets, moulding, knobs, pulls, and organizers,
- coordinate with other contractors (countertops, flooring, electrical, etc.) as needed,
- cleanup and dispose of debris,
- provide written warranty on products and workmanship.
